Vila Foz Restaurant

His passion for gastronomy began early, at his family's restaurant in Ermesinde. Arnaldo Azevedo was born two years after his father, with whom he shares his name and vocation, opened a restaurant, where he took his first steps in the kitchen. He attended cooking school at the Santa Maria da Feira Hotel School, followed by other experiences between Porto and the Algarve, which helped shape his career and define the personality and boldness of his creations. He arrived at Vila Foz Hotel & Spa in 2019, earning Vila Foz's first Michelin star in 2022.
He currently runs four restaurants: Vila Foz and Flor de Lis, both located in the Vila Foz hotel, the latter recommended in the MICHELIN Guide Portugal 2025. Bistrô by Vila Foz, also recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, and Taglio by Vila Foz, a relaxed concept focused on pizzas and focaccias, are located in the Matosinhos Market, 10 minutes from the Vila Foz hotel.
